Due to the forecast for severe weather this
afternoon into this evening, the Year 9 Parents Evening scheduled for Thursday,
22 November has been cancelled. We feel that it is important that parents,
children and staff are not placed in danger due to heavy rainfall and potential
flash and river flooding.
We will notify parents of a new date for the Parents’ Evening in due course.
All after-school activities are also cancelled, and detentions due for this
evening will be postponed.
We anticipate opening on Friday 23 November as normal.
All bus routes are expected to run as normal.
However, buses passing through Upton may need to divert via
Welland and Hanley Swan should flooding affect this route. These buses may
therefore arrive at school later than normal, and may drop students later than
normal at the end of the day.
